Ayre's Rock Hostel
Accommodation
The Ayre's Rock Hostel has accreditation by Visit Scotland and has been rated at four stars.
The hostel has two twin rooms, and one family, ensuite room. There is a self-catering kitchen, an extra shared shower, and a toilet. Our brand new lounge area, with expansive views over the Holms of Ire, offers a comfortable place to relax after a day's exploration of our beautiful island. A further visitors' sitting area is provided in the conservatory of the main house.
Rooms are available on both a self-catering and a bed and breakfast basis. Evening meals can be provided by special arrangement at additional cost.
Hot takeaway meals are also available from the Ayre's Rock Chip Shop, when open.

Self-caterers' Breakfast Café
Also new this year, our Breakfast Café provision for self-catering visitors.
May - September only: 10am - 11:30am, daily from our Takeaway - a selection of breakfast items at reasonable prices.
The Hostel
The Hostel is a recent conversion of the outbuildings at Ayre and is entirely self-contained. The hostel lies along one side of a grassed and paved area, safe for children to play in. The house forms another side, and the craft shop a third. A wall on the fourth side separates this area from vehicles.
Kitchen
The hostel kitchen is fully equpped to make your stay a real home from home. Nothing has been forgotten and you will find everything from a microwave oven, to that all important corkscrew and bottle opener. We have, of course, included the kitchen sink.
Tariff
Hostel room rate: £13 per person first night, £12 per person per additional night.
Hostel B&B: £17 per person first night, £16 per person per additional night.
Hostel B&B and evening meal: £23 per person first night, £22 per person per additional night.
B&B meals are taken in the family home
